New Facebook Ad Accounts’ daily spend limit may be restricted for a period due to Facebook learning what your audience is and to be sure that you are a valid user who will pay bills. This restriction might only last for 3 days or so, but it varies. The spending limit may be R100 per day, but again - it varies.
Not sure if your ad account has a spend limit? Here is how to identify.
1. Let’s assume that you already created an ad campaign on the ad manager. Among all the actions you would also have selected a daily spending limit. Once your ads are published, you should daily look at your ads’ performance. In the Campaigns section of Ads Manager, you can look at various metrics on the campaign, ad set, and ads level. Select to only look at one day’s performance. Then compare the Amount Spent column with the Budget column. As in this example you can see that the daily spend limit (R250) is higher than the actual amount spent (R103.67).
